Terms of Service
Effective date: 18 October 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and UpOnly Learning, LLC ("UpOnly Learning," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using uponlylearning.com and its lessons (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who may use the Service. You must be at least 18 years old and the parent, legal guardian or teacher of the students you use the lessons with. Accounts are for adults only. Students may use printed or on-screen materials under your supervision, but may not create accounts. We currently sell only to customers in the United States, and our lessons are offered in English, Spanish and Portuguese for families here. If you are outside the United States, we are not yet able to sell to you.
2. Your account. Provide accurate information and keep your login private. You are responsible for activity on your account. One account serves one household. Tell us at support@uponlylearning.com if you believe your account has been used without permission.
3. Prices, plans and offers change. We set and change our own prices. Prices, plans, bundles, discounts, promotions, free samples and the limits on them may change at any time and without notice, for new purchases. We try hard to keep things consistent and we do not change things for the sake of it, but we are a growing publisher and we may add, retire, re-price or re-bundle anything we offer.
If you already have a subscription and we change its price, the change takes effect at your next renewal, not in the middle of a period you have paid for. We will email you at least 30 days before the new price applies to one of your renewals, and you may cancel at any time before then; if you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. If you do not cancel, the new price applies from that renewal.
Full Access is a one-time payment, so there is no renewal to re-price: you are never charged again, whatever our prices do afterwards.
Retiring a bundle or a promotion never takes away something you already bought. What you have purchased stays yours under the license you bought it under.
4. Your license to use the materials. While your account has active access, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to view the lessons, worksheets and answer keys, and (on a paid plan) to print or save copies for use with students in your own household or homeschool. You may not:
- share your login or give access to people outside your household;
- resell, republish, upload, post or distribute the materials, in whole or in part, including on marketplaces such as Teachers Pay Teachers, Etsy or social media;
- copy, scrape, download in bulk, or use automated tools to collect content;
- remove copyright notices or watermarks;
- use the materials to train or build an artificial intelligence or machine learning model, or a competing product.
Teachers and co-ops that want to use materials with students outside their own household need a separate written license from us.
5. Free sample, plans and payment. Plans, pricing, the free sample, cancellation and refunds are described in the Subscriptions & Refunds section below, which is part of these Terms. Payments are processed by our payment providers; we do not store your full card number.
6. Educational content only. The Service provides educational materials. It is not a school, an accredited program or professional tutoring, and it does not issue grades, credits or transcripts. See the Educational Disclaimer below.
7. Our intellectual property. The Service, including all lessons, worksheets, answer keys, text, design, the UpOnly Learning name and logo, and their arrangement, is owned by UpOnly Learning, LLC or its licensors and protected by copyright and trademark law. Except for the license in section 4, no rights are granted to you.
8. Feedback. If you send us suggestions or corrections, we may use them without obligation to you.
9. Suspension and termination. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, including by sharing or redistributing materials, and in that case no refund is owed. You may close your account at any time. Sections 4 (restrictions), 7, 10, 11, 12 and 13 survive termination.
10. Disclaimer of warranties. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We work hard to make lessons accurate and aligned to the standards named, but we do not guarantee that content is error-free, complete, current, or that it will produce any particular learning or test outcome. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
11. Limitation of liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, UpOnly Learning, LLC and its owners, employees and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits or opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
12. Indemnity. You agree to defend and hold us harmless from claims arising from your misuse of the Service or your breach of these Terms.
13. Governing law and disputes. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Palm Beach County, Florida, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at support@uponlylearning.com and try to resolve it informally for 30 days.
14. Changes. We may update these Terms. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or on the site at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new Terms.

Subscriptions, Samples and Refunds
Effective date: 18 October 2026
| Plan | Price | What you get | Renewal |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free sample | $0, no card required | The first topic of every grade in every subject, online only, with the same sample questions each time, plus a free sample workbook per subject and grade; printing of online lessons, saving and copying are turned off | No time limit and never turns into a paid plan on its own |
| Subjects (monthly) | $12.00 per subject per month for 1 to 3 subjects ($12 to $36); from 4 subjects up you are placed on All Subjects at $39.00 instead | Complete access to the subjects you choose, for up to 10 students in one household, including printing and saving | Renews every month until you cancel; cancel any time, no partial-month refunds |
| All Subjects (monthly) | $39.00 per month | Every subject we have published, for up to 10 students in one household, including printing and saving | Renews every month until you cancel; cancel any time, no partial-month refunds |
| Full Access | $1,199.00 once | Every subject, grade and lesson available now, and every one we add in the future, included at no extra cost as each one ships, for up to 10 students in one household, including printing and saving | One-time payment, no renewals |
Prices are in US dollars. Applicable sales tax may be added at checkout.
Free sample. Each household may use one free account for the free sample. Creating extra accounts to get around plan limits breaks these terms, and we may close those accounts. Free sample workbooks are licensed for your own household only, like paid workbooks.
All Subjects plan. The All Subjects plan is $39.00 per month and includes every subject we have published, for up to 10 students in one household. When the subjects you select would cost more per month than the All Subjects plan, we place you on the All Subjects plan instead, at the lower price.
Subject plans. You may instead choose individual subjects, at $12.00 per subject per month. By subscribing, you authorize us and our payment provider to charge your payment method the plan price (plus any tax) at the start and on the same day each month until you cancel. You may change which subjects are included from your account; to add or remove a subject, switch to the plan for that number of subjects. Cancel anytime from your account or by emailing support@uponlylearning.com. Cancellation stops future charges; you keep access until the end of the month you already paid for. We do not give partial-month refunds.
Full Access. One payment of $1,199.00 grandfathers your household in with no renewals: you get every subject, grade and lesson available now, and every subject, grade and lesson we add in the future, included at no extra cost as each one ships, for as long as UpOnly Learning offers the Service. Full Access lasts as long as UpOnly Learning offers the Service, and no longer; it is tied to the Service, not to the purchaser. We do not promise that any particular subject, grade or course will be added, or by when. The license is personal to your household: you may view materials on the website and print or save them for use with students in your own household only. Sharing your login, or giving, selling or posting materials to anyone outside your household, is not permitted and ends the license without refund. If we ever shut the Service down, we will give at least 60 days' notice so you can save the materials you need.
Refunds.
- Subject plans: if you were charged by mistake or forgot to cancel, contact us within 7 days of the charge and we will refund that month if the account has not printed or saved materials since the charge.
- Full Access: you may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase if you have not printed or saved materials.
- Accounts closed for breaking the Terms (for example, sharing logins or redistributing materials) are not eligible for refunds.
To request a refund, email support@uponlylearning.com with the email on your account. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method, usually within 5 to 10 business days.
Price changes. Prices, plans and offers may change as described in section 3 of the Terms of Service above. We may change prices for new purchases. If we change the per-subject price, we will email you at least 30 days before your next renewal, and you may cancel before then. Full Access purchases are never charged again.
Privacy Policy
Effective date: 18 October 2026
We collect only what we need to run your account and take payment, we never sell your information, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
| Information | Why | Where it comes from |
|---|---|---|
| Name and email address | Create and secure your account; send receipts and service messages | You, at sign-up |
| Plan and payment status | Give you the access you paid for | Our payment provider |
| Billing details (card, billing address) | Take payment | Entered on our payment provider's checkout; we never see or store your full card number |
| Lessons viewed, printed or saved | Keep your library working, enforce the free sample limits and household license, improve lessons | Your use of the site |
| Device and usage data (IP address, browser, pages visited, cookies) | Keep the site secure, signed in and working; understand what is used | Your browser, through our website platform |
| Student label and grade (both optional) | Label each student’s progress so you can tell your learners apart, and open their library at the right grade | You, when you set up your household — never from the student |
| Messages you send us | Answer your questions | You |
How we use it. To provide and secure the Service, process payments, send account and billing emails, respond to support requests, prevent fraud and account sharing, improve our lessons, and meet legal obligations. We send marketing emails only if you opt in, and every one has an unsubscribe link.
Who we share it with. Only service providers that help us run the Service, under contracts that limit their use of your data: our website, membership and hosting platform (Wix.com), our payment processors, and our email provider. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Cookies. Our site uses cookies and similar tools to keep you signed in, remember settings and measure site use. You can control cookies in your browser; blocking some may stop the site from working.
Children's privacy. UpOnly Learning is bought and set up by adults. Accounts are for adults 18 and older. Students never sign in, never create an account, and are never asked for anything by the site. We do not collect a student's age or date of birth. When you set up your household you may add a label for each student — a first name and last initial, a nickname, or an initial — and a grade, so that progress can be labelled and their library opens in the right place. Both are optional and you can leave them blank, and everything works exactly the same. We ask for nothing else about a student: no full name, no age, no date of birth, no school, no photo, no contact details. Lessons never ask a student for personal information. We do not use this information for advertising and do not share it with anyone outside the service providers listed above. You can see, change or delete it at any time in your account, and deleting your account deletes it. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email support@uponlylearning.com and we will delete it.
How long we keep it — our written retention policy. We keep each kind of information only as long as the purpose it was collected for requires, and never indefinitely. You may ask us to delete your account at any time.
| Information | Why we need to keep it | When it is deleted |
|---|---|---|
| Student label and grade | To label progress and open the library in the right place while you are using the Service | Immediately when you remove that student, and when your account is deleted. We keep no copy afterwards. |
| Progress records (lessons viewed, printed or completed) | To keep your library and progress working | With your account, within 30 days of deletion |
| Name and email address | To run and secure your account and send service messages | Within 30 days of account deletion |
| Payment and order records | Legal, tax and accounting obligations | Up to 7 years, then deleted |
| Support messages | To answer you and to see repeat problems | 2 years |
| Device and usage logs | Security, fraud prevention and keeping the site working | 13 months |
Security program. We maintain a written information security program, sized to a small publisher, covering who may reach the information we hold, how it is protected in transit and at rest, how we check the service providers we use, and an annual review. We hold very little, which is the strongest protection of all.
No advertising use, ever. We do not use anything we hold — least of all a student label or grade — for advertising, profiling or targeted advertising, and we do not disclose it to any third party for those purposes. There is no advertising consent to give us, because we are not asking for one.
Your choices and rights. You can view and update your account details at any time. Depending on where you live (for example, California, Virginia, Colorado or the EU/UK), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. Email support@uponlylearning.com to make a request; we will respond within 30 days (45 days where state law allows) and will not treat you differently for using these rights.
Security. We use our platform's encrypted connections and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
Where we operate. We are based in the United States, we currently sell only to customers in the United States, and your information is processed in the United States. We offer our lessons in English, Spanish and Portuguese for families here.
Changes. We will post any update here with a new effective date and email you about material changes.

What Is Yours to Decide
You are the adult in the room. UpOnly Learning gives you materials; you decide how they are used, and that is on purpose — nobody at UpOnly Learning knows your student the way you do.
- You choose what to teach and when. Grade labels and suggested ages are guides, not placements. Move your student up or down freely.
- You supervise the activities. Lessons use household items — scissors, coins, food, measuring tools, a stove in a cooking lesson. Read a lesson before your student does it, and skip anything you judge unsafe for your student, your home or any allergy in your family.
- You teach the safety facts for where you live. Our safety lessons teach the idea that there is a number to call for help and that a grown-up helps you call it. You must teach your student the actual emergency number for your country and practise it with them. Where we name a number as an example, we say which country it belongs to.
- You decide what to type about your student. The label and grade on the setup page are optional. A nickname or an initial works. Leave them blank and nothing stops working.
- You keep your account to your household. One account, one family, up to 10 students. Keep your password private.
- You are responsible for meeting your own legal requirements. Homeschooling rules — registration, record keeping, testing, portfolios, required subjects and hours — are set by your state or country, not by us. We do not track, report or certify anything, and using UpOnly Learning does not by itself satisfy any requirement. Check your own rules.
- You are the judge of the work. We check lessons and answer keys carefully, and we still get things wrong. Read the answer key before you hand it over, and tell us at support@uponlylearning.com when you find a mistake so the next family does not hit it.
- You decide screen time and pace. Nothing in the Service pushes a student to keep going, and we send no notifications to students.
One thing that is ours, not yours. Protecting the handful of information we hold is our job and we do not pass it to you. Our privacy duties under the law are ours, and nothing on this page moves them to you.
Educational Disclaimer
UpOnly Learning provides supplemental educational materials for parents and teachers. Please read this before using them.
UpOnly Learning is a private educational publisher owned by UpOnly Learning, LLC. It is not a school, college or accredited institution, and it is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by the US Department of Education, any state department or board of education, any school district, or the Singapore Ministry of Education.
- Not a school or accredited curriculum. UpOnly Learning does not award grades, credits or diplomas, and does not replace any curriculum your state or district requires. You are responsible for meeting your local homeschool laws and reporting requirements.
- No guaranteed results. Every student learns differently. We do not promise any improvement in grades, test scores, placement or admissions.
- Standards alignment is our own interpretation. Lessons are written by UpOnly Learning to address the named US Common Core standards and Singapore Ministry of Education syllabus topics. They are not reviewed, approved or endorsed by the owners of those standards, and standards and syllabuses can change.
- Ages and grades are guides. Typical ages are shown for convenience; choose lessons by what your student is ready for.
- Mistakes happen, and we want to hear about them. We write and review every lesson, question and answer key carefully, and we still get things wrong. An answer key can be wrong. A question can be worded badly, be ambiguous, have two defensible answers, or be harder than its grade level. Check the answer key before you hand it to a student, and trust your own judgement over ours when the two disagree. If you find a problem, take a photo or a screenshot of the page and email it to support@uponlylearning.com — the picture tells us far more than a description, and we can usually find the exact item from it. Tell us the subject and grade if you have them. We fix what you report and the fix reaches every family.
- Supervise activities. Some lessons use household items such as scissors, coins, food or measuring tools. An adult should supervise, and should skip any item that is unsafe for the student (for example, small objects for young students or foods the student is allergic to).
- Not professional advice. Lessons are not a substitute for an evaluation by a qualified educator, tutor or specialist. If you suspect a learning difference such as dyscalculia, talk to a professional.
- Founder's credentials. UpOnly Learning's founder is a Doctor of Chiropractic and a parent. UpOnly Learning does not provide medical, chiropractic or health advice.
