Bilingual speech and language materials in Spanish and Portuguese
If you searched for bilingual speech therapy materials, Spanish speech therapy printables or WH questions in Spanish: here is what UpOnly Learning offers, honestly. We publish practice materials for families, teachers and SLPs to use. We do not provide therapy.
Spanish speech and language practice
Our Speech & Language Practice Cards, in the store now with a free sample, have one picture per card with the English, Spanish and Portuguese text, in sets for WH questions (qué, quién, dónde, cuándo, por qué), categories and vocabulary, basic concepts and following directions. The Spanish is neutral Latin American Spanish; dialects differ in accent, grammar and meaning[1], so an SLP may change words for a family.
We do not make trilingual articulation cards: ASHA notes that language items often do not have a one-to-one translation[1].

Brazilian Portuguese speech and language practice
The same cards carry Brazilian Portuguese on every card. In Brazil, therapy for oral and written communication, voice and hearing is the work of the licensed fonoaudiólogo[2], so Portuguese-speaking families should share the cards with theirs.
Free now
The free First-Then board and Face Detectives feelings cards show English, Spanish and Portuguese on every card, and SLPs and teachers can use them today.
Working with an SLP
SLPs play a critical role in the screening, assessment, diagnosis and treatment of speech and language disorders[3]. ASHA notes that people trained by an SLP can provide language practice in the home[3]. To find an SLP in the U.S., ASHA ProFind lists ASHA-certified professionals[4].
