A free First-Then board and visual schedule in Portuguese
Free First-Then boards in Portuguese are hard to find. Every card in ours shows the Brazilian Portuguese word next to the English one (and the Spanish one).

What the Portuguese edition has
- “Primeiro” and “Depois” printed on the board, next to “First” and “Then”
- Visual schedule cards (rotina visual) for everyday activities, each with the Portuguese, English and Spanish word
- A token strip (“Estou trabalhando para”), a “terminei” pocket and a “mudança” card
- The one-page adult guide printed in Portuguese first, then English and Spanish
- Brazilian Portuguese. Change any word to the one your family uses: dialects differ in accent, grammar and meaning[1].
Why the same card in both languages
ASHA encourages families to keep using their heritage languages[1], and suggests talking with your child in the language you are most comfortable using[2]. One card with both words lets a teacher and a Portuguese-speaking parent use the same picture.
