Every week is also free to read online, week by week, at UpOnly Learning Pre-K 3. The book puts the whole year in one print-ready file.

How to use it

  • Do one week at a time: about 10 to 15 minutes of table time a day, in short blocks of 5 to 10 minutes, plus reading aloud, songs and play.
  • Each week starts with a 5-minute parent prep note and the page numbers of that week's pages, so you can print just the week you need.
  • Household supplies only: paper, crayons, spoons, socks and toys. Every activity has a no-supplies swap, and no scissors are needed.
  • Letters are for hearing only: your learner's own name and one letter sound about once a month. Use the parent answer notes for what to look for.
  • Week 4 of every unit is a review week, and unit 9 looks back at the year before Pre-K 4.

Questions parents ask

Is Pre-K 3 free on UpOnly Learning?

Yes. Every Pre-K 3 week is free to read online, with no caps, no card and no ads, and the weekly PDFs need only a free adult account. This book is for families who want the whole year in one print-ready file with page numbers and answer notes.

What is in the book that is not on the week pages?

The same weeks, put together: one clickable table of contents, a year map, a divider for each unit, page numbers on every page, page references inside each week, and parent answer notes for every printable page.

What age is this preschool book for?

Students aged 3 to 4, taught at home by a parent, grandparent or caregiver, or in a daycare or preschool class. You read it aloud; your learner points, talks, counts and colors.

Is it a subscription?

No. It is a one-time purchase, no subscription. Buy it once and print it at home as often as you need for your household.

Do I need to print in color?

No. The pages are in color, and every page still works printed in grayscale on a home printer.

Do I get updated versions of the book?

Yes. We update our books as we improve them, often from suggestions by parents, teachers and educators. Your purchase stays in your UpOnly Learning account, and every download gives you the newest version at no extra cost.

UpOnly Learning is a private educational publisher, not a school. We award no grades, credits or diplomas, we are not accredited, and nothing we publish satisfies a legal requirement on its own.

Each topic names the standard it addresses. That alignment is UpOnly Learning's own reading of the published standards; the people who own those standards do not review or endorse what we publish, and standards change.
