Questions parents ask

What grade is this book for?

Recommended for grades 1–8. Each section names the grade it practices, so a student can start at their own level; the starting check shows the right first page.

Are the answers included?

Yes. Every practice page is followed by its answer page, so a parent or the student can check the work in a minute.

Is there a free sample?

Yes. The free sample has the first practice page and its answer page, with the book's cover.

Is it a subscription?

No. It is a one-time purchase, no subscription. Buy it once and print it at home as often as you need for your household.

Do I get updated versions of the book?

Yes. We update our books as we improve them, often from suggestions by parents, teachers and educators. Your purchase stays in your UpOnly Learning account, and every download gives you the newest version at no extra cost.

Does it cover adding fractions with different denominators?

Yes. Section 5 has two pages on adding and subtracting fractions with different denominators, after pages with the same denominator, and a page on mixed numbers with regrouping.

How are the answers written?

Every answer is in simplest form. Answers more than 1 are written as mixed numbers, unless the page asks for an improper fraction, and repeating decimals get a bar over the digits that repeat.
