Built with families: share your ideas with us
A good idea often fits in one sentence. "Do you have this in Portuguese?" "My student is stuck on long division, is there a sheet for that?" "Could there be a game for spelling?"
UpOnly Learning is built together with the parents, homeschool families, teachers, tutors and students who use it. Today we opened a proper front door for those sentences: the Share your ideas page.
Who actually reads what I send?
A real person. Someone on our team reads every message, talks it over with the team, and we make changes based on what you tell us.
There is no bot deciding what gets through, and your message does not disappear into a ticket queue. If you leave your email, we can reply to you. If you do not, that is fine too.
What can I ask for?
Almost anything that would help a student learn. Parents, teachers and tutors most often ask for:
- A printable worksheet for a topic a student is stuck on.
- Practice for a grade or subject we have not reached yet.
- Bilingual lessons in Spanish or Portuguese.
- A learning game that practices one skill.
- Help for a student who is behind and needs to catch up.
- Materials for a class, co-op or tutoring group.
You can also just ask a question, or tell us what did not work.
How do I request a worksheet or lesson?
On the Share your ideas page:
- Tell us who you are: parent, homeschool family, teacher or tutor, school or co-op, student or other.
- Pick what it is about: a question, a mistake, a new subject or grade, a game or story idea, a new feature, languages, or something else.
- Type your idea. Name the topic and grade if you can. "Grade 4, comparing fractions with different denominators" helps more than "fractions."
- Add where it was (a page, book or game) and a screenshot if it helps.
- Leave your email only if you would like a reply.
Students are welcome to send ideas too. We ask them not to write their name, email, school or anything about who they are.
How do I report a mistake?
Choose I found a mistake, tell us where it was and add a screenshot if you can. We fix every mistake we are told about.
That goes for language, too. If a sentence in our Spanish or Portuguese does not sound natural to you, we want to know.
How do you decide what to build?
Honestly: we build first what helps the most students, starting with what many families ask for. When lots of people ask for the same thing, it moves to the top of the list.
Members' requests get priority, and we let members know when theirs is ready. We cannot promise to make every request, but we read every one.
What else launched today?
Quite a lot: free practice sheets for every grade and subject, a page for teachers with the same questions in three languages, a page for tutors, and one plan for a room full of grades for co-ops and microschools. If any of it is missing something, this page is where to tell us.
