Writing and grammar practice for a Spanish-speaking student who is learning to write in English. The instructions and questions are in Spanish; the English sentences being studied sit beside them, because writing English is what the student is practicing. What the worksheets are like

  • The questions are in Spanish. The English sentences under study appear beside them in a light-blue box.
  • Grammar, punctuation, sentence structure, word choice and the conventions a grade is expected to control.
  • Multiple choice, with the answers marked beside each question. A button above the sheet hides them for a clean student copy and shows them again for your answer key.

The free placement test in Spanish covers math, reading and English level, for any age. It adapts as your student answers, and at the end you enter an email to see the results. It is also in English.

Which grades are there?

Kindergarten to grade 8, one Spanish page per grade for English & Writing. If a grade feels hard, try the one below; that is normal.

Can a teacher use them with a class?

Yes. Print and photocopy the practice pages for the students you teach. We only ask that you do not republish them as your own or sell them.
